+1, Paul Kneale, guest of ANDOR (27 Jun 2015)

4–5pm. Free, no booking required

George Unsworth, founder of Hackney gallery ANDOR, invites artist Paul Kneale to launch ‘New Abject’, a new e-book in collaboration with Swiss designer Dan Solbach and one of the outcomes of Dreaming of Streaming, ANDOR’s alternative publishing studio.

The e-book will be available for free at the launch as well as through the artist’s one day takeover of the DRAF website. The launch event will also feature a screening of the latest version of tr0118044y‘s film ‘Holiday’, discussed in the text, a 20-year ongoing project based in and around the club culture of Ibiza.

+1 is a new series in collaboration with London’s most exciting emerging spaces, collectives and publications, who each invite an artist to present a current project in DRAF’s library. By hosting these intimate profiles-in-the-moment, DRAF invites colleagues and public to engage in direct discussions departing from practice-based research.

For third event, DRAF hosts Hackney-based gallery ANDOR. Founded in 2010 by George Unsworth, it specialises in supporting UK-based and international projects in the development of new exhibitions and projects.
